Sport 24, the IMG-owned live sports channel for the airline and cruise line industries, has extended its partnership with the Masters Tournament for a further three years, through to 2024/5.

Sport 24 will continue to connect travellers worldwide to the unmissable action from the first of the four men’s major golf championships, with the 86th edition of the Masters taking place this week from 7-10 April. Sport 24 will show more than 18 hours of live coverage across the four days of competition from Augusta National Golf Club.

Richard Wise, SVP, Content and Channels, IMG’s media business, said: “The Masters is such an iconic event and has a very special place in the golfing calendar so we are delighted to continue our partnership. The tournament always provides drama and excitement at one of the world’s most beautiful and recognisable courses. Sport 24 viewers are once again in for a treat as they embark on their travels in the air and on the seas.”

Sport 24 is available on Panasonic’s market-leading live television service, which is broadcast via satellite. Launched in 2012, both Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra are produced from IMG’s production HQ at Stockley Park, near London’s Heathrow Airport. Sport 24 also shows live action from the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, NBA, tennis’ Grand Slams, MotoGP and more.
